- Cross-reference your name against the FAA Airmen Registry to display verified credential information on your public profile
- Facilitate connections between mentors and mentees
- Process subscription payments and send related information
- Send you technical notices, updates, and support messages
- Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
- Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities
- Display your mentor profile across our Aviation Marketplace network (BuyingAnAirplane.com, AirplaneOwners.io, SinglePilotJets.com, AirplanePartners.com, AircraftLeasebacks.com)
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
- With your consent or at your direction
- Between Aviation Marketplace network sites for cross-platform mentor visibility
- With service providers who perform services on our behalf (payment processing, email delivery)

Mentee contact form submissions are shared with the designated mentor via email and stored in our system for follow-up and quality assurance purposes.
4. Mentor Profile Visibility
When you create a mentor profile, the following information is publicly visible: your name, title, bio, mentoring philosophy, location (city and state), flight hours, certificates, aircraft types, mentoring categories, ratings, and reviews. FAA Airmen Registry data matched to your name is displayed transparently on your profile. Your email address and phone number are never displayed publicly — mentee inquiries come through our contact form.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data is transmitted via SSL encryption and stored on secured servers within the United States.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also request that your mentor profile be removed from all Aviation Marketplace network sites. To exercise these rights, please contact us at privacy@pilotmentors.com.
